The purpose of the Protective Order Assistance program is to provide a safe environment for victims of domestic/family violence, sexual assault and stalking by assisting them in correctly completing the petition for an order of protection. Volunteers working the program will need the following skills:
1. Strong communication skills
2. Compassion for victims of domestic violence
3. Basic computer knowledge
4. Complete a 4 hour training program
5. Be at least 19 years of age
6. Pass a background investigation
