As part of its new partnership with the Gary Community School Corporation, Pathways to College, is pleased and excited to invite the families of West Side Leadership Academy and Wirt/Emerson VPA students, and the community, to a special showing of Selma, free of charge.

Please join us on the evening of Wednesday, February 4th for a fun night out with family and friends to share history and personal insights.

Wednesday evening’s screening will take place in the auditorium of the West Side Leadership Academy located at 9th Avenue and Gerry Street.  It will begin promptly at 6 p.m. and end at approximately 8:15 p.m.

Pathways to College Scholars and teachers hope guests will be able to stay until 8:45 p.m. to participate in a conversation about the film and the powerful events it portrays.

We thank members of the Links, Inc. for their support and assistance with admission and distributing wristbands, which will serve as tickets. Wristbands can be picked up Tuesday, Feb. 3rd at the following locations:
